Yesterday my uncle took me fishing. I got all wet so we had to go home.I got wet because I tripped over. I felt itchy.

In the holidays I went to my Nana's house. My uncle was there. I slept in the lounge. We went to the  food court and I met my cousin Darren there. We had McDonald's  for lunch. After that we went bowling. I played some games. It was fun. I was the best at bowling.

On Thursday Orere school went to Auckland airport and we saw some big aeroplanes. Then we went into a 747  and a 777. After that we went in the hangar. We also saw Jean Batten's plane. Her airplane was called the
Gull. After that we went home.

My school went  to the Air New Zealand Hangar. The 747 was my favourite plane. The best part was when I got to  sit in the cockpit.When we were finished at the hangar we went to the terminal. We saw Jean Batten' s plane there. We had lunch there.

Visit to Auckland airport

Wow! what an amazing day we had visiting the Auckland airport last Thursday. Orere school was the first school to actually have a look and see the Boeings aeroplanes getting rebuilt.We couldn't believe how big the planes actually were. It was really cool seeing inside the cockpit where the pilots sit and where they sleep. Afterwards we went and saw Jean Batten's plane. Her plane seemed so small compared to the Boeings.

Well its week 7 and only one more swimming session to go! Its great to see the progress  all the students have made with swimming in just 6  weeks. So much more confident and with  style!. The instructors have been awesome.
